Heheheheh. Yeah, well, that book made me mad plenty of times, but it's good. It means we're attached to the characters. I often put it down and let out frustrated love sighs, hoping the two would soon start to get cozy with each other.

He was just a conquest as he said. So I assume the next time he sleeps with someone is at the brothel with that girl (the part I skimmed ahead about). Seriously, I kinda wish Seregil was like "Alec, I want you" or something less corny and then they have like this intimate moment and Alec struggles with his feelings then slowly he gives in and...yeah I have quite the imagination. *sighs*

I dunno, he did sort of go because he wanted to, and he's not a kid or anything, but on the other hand, it still screamed "rape" to me. I think it's the fact she only used him because he was a virgin and she wanted the bragging rights and nothing else. It felt wrong for a person like Alec to participate in something like that.

I have to say that the Ylinstra part made me more angry than a book ever should. She did totally rape him! And what's worse is like nobody even cared. Besides Seregil sitting by his bed all night, and some minor mixed feelings from Alec, they brushed the whole ordeal off like it was no biggie.
