I really love anthropology. It will let me go to the places in the world where Westernization hasn't taken a firm hold yet and that's really important to me. I'm probably going to be doing medicinal anthropology (documenting tribal medicines, etc...) but social anthropology is really fascinating too. I'm a great deal more interested in anthropology than sociology but I think it's primarily because anthropology is traditionally more interested in tribes and non-Western culture whereas Sociology, traditionally, deals with "civilization."
However, the lines are mostly blurred now as everyone seems to be advancing to modernity (blaahhh).

I'm an anthropology major. Whoohooo... I'm taking forensic anthropology next semester. I'm quite excited.

Right, right. Ok. It's very confusing haha. I feel bad for not knowing more about it though. Do you know what you'll be focusing on at University?
