I have an acoustic guitar for everyday use, I'll play my electric at an appropriate time and the neighbours don't seem to mind as long as it's not too loud. The drums I keep at a warehouse that my family owns. If you can afford electric drums then they are really good cause you can just play them into a pair of headphones, same thing applies with an acoustic guitar. If you're a guitarist though your best bet would be to buy an external sound card for your computer, plug your guitar into that and run it through a virtual amp. That way you can play it through your computer into some headphones AND record everything that you play/write

I do know what you meant. I'm not sure why, there's some sort of glitch between CMS - the frontsite stuff - and the forum, it's not integrated very well.
