I finished my grinding up finally in FE: Fates, so I was finally able to continue with the game. I'm at chapter 14 now and I am only missing 3 couples + babies~!

Yeah, I'm thinking a new graphics card will be what ends up on the old Christmas list for my parents this year unless i decide to save for one sooner. Christmas is more likely though. I've got tools and materials i still need to buy and a new card isn't urgent. My old one is still running fine, it's just not quite up to running anything as graphically intensive and recent as Doom. On the plus side, maybe I'll be able to get that on sale by then for a decent price. Win win.

And i honestly only care for the single player in this game. I've heard there's at least a multiplayer mode that let's a person on the team become a demon so maybe I'll fool around a little bit with it, but that deathmatch arena style online play never appealed to me too much. Always preferred things that are team based and a lot more varied if I'm going to get into multiplayer for very long. Stuff like Counter-Strike or Team Fortress can hold my attention for years, but for some reason i almost find deathmatch too chaotic. I like having a team that can watch my back a bit i guess.

Jim Sterling seemed to love the new Doom and that's generally good enough for me to want to try it out.

And don't even get me started on graphics cards i can't afford. Nothing like a wonderfully designed piece of hardware (or anything really) to get me drooling.

That's awesome about the new job. Electronics engineering sounds like an interesting field. And I've always heard in the past that the cities in Texas tend to be more liberal. I'm sure that like most stereotypes of places there's some truth to some of it, but nothing like that is ever totally applicable to everything of course. Especially the more diverse a place becomes and cities do tend to attract people from all places.

How'd you meet your girlfriend? The girl I'm dating right now lives an hour away from here. Not quite as bad as the distance you deal with but still makes it hard to spend more than a day or two together at a time. We're hoping that I'll be able to get a business off the ground and move in together once we're able, but no idea how long that will take right now.

And despite the fact that I've played it to death over the years I would love to see you stream Doom. Unless you're talking about the new one which I'd still love watching. Based on the demo I'm at the point where I'll finally have to upgrade my GPU again. Haha! Have fun building the new PC too. I'd love to build myself a new one from scratch again, but that'll probably be a few years off still. Just have to upgrade as necessary for now.

What other sorts of games are you into anyway? For that matter, where are you from? What do you do for a living? It occurred to me last night that we probably don't know enough about each other. It probably lends itself to heated arguments online when it's easier to think of people as an avatar instead of a person actually.

Not everyone is going to reply to all posts sadly. It can be a bit discouraging but the more you post and everyone gets to know you and vice versa the better it gets I find.

And I'd love to see you get back to the XCom 2 LP. Our of you're not enjoying it as much do another for the original (or enemy within if you have the expansion). The timed missions are definitely more stressful, but I will say they get less so as you progress. The sooner you have a full squad size at least the better. Once you're a few weapon of armour upgrades in its better still. Still stressful sometimes, but not as much because of the timer. Up to you though. I'd like to see you keep at it but if you're not feeling it then there's no pressure. Try something else instead of you're up to it.

My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.

He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.
