Oh wow. That would be awesome, though at this point, I really only have that one track and don't really know if I can make a lot of music at a consistent enough rate. Plus, I still know absolutely nothing about sound design and don't really have any software to make it sound better yet, so I'm not sure it'd be presentable in a larger project like this yet. Still, it's a great opportunity, so he can show it to the team, though I think it might be smart to wait until I have at least a couple more tracks to show off what I can do.

Also, is this a just a free passion project or an actual thing that's supposed to make money? Because if it's the former, I think I could honestly join at this point to use as a training ground, but if it's paid, I'd need to improve first to make sure I can make it something that won't sink the project

Yeah, I'd heard that a change was coming there but didn't know the details. I suppose it makes sense to include it on the spectrum rather than as it's own thing in a way. I mean it is a spectrum for a reason. Having a separate distinction for one type might not make a ton of sense.

Saying the Switch's launch is better than the Wii U is not difficult

I don't know. I love my 3DS, but after the fourth or so redesign of the 3DS you get that sensation only people who still own an Apple iPhone 4 feel, as people boast about their iPhone 7 or 8 or whatever number we're on.

It is why I completely avoided the Wii U, even though it had games I loved to play on my Wii, like Super Smash, Mario Kart (my love) or the various Mario games. I'm hoping the Switch has staying power, so I can purchase it after it is confirmed to be, you know, actually decent.

Zelda is the launch title, but I've never quite managed to get myself into Zelda. Not sure why. Might boot back up my 3DS copy of Ocarina and see where i got to with that.

I suppose the other thing holding me back is the portability. It's not a big seller for me. I don't really play games on the move, unless I'm on a really long coach trip where I'll bring my 3DS. I've always preferred the sofa. I mean, I really like that it is portable, I think that's a great idea, I just don't think I'd use it all that much. If at all.

Having said that, totally with you on graphics. Things like the PS4 Pro and Scorpio confuse me. Like, I have a PS4, and the graphics seem great. Why do I need more? I've never been a massive graphics snob.

I mean I wouldn't say 'no' to a Nintendo Switch, I'm just cautious after the Wii U semi-flopped (or at least, that's what it seemed to me). Nintendo likes going mid-generation distinct from Xbox and PS.

Also, the line-up seems thin on the ground for the first year, but that might just be me.

Yeah, I read that each half can be a separate controller. But I don't know, they look rather uncomfortable to use. I mean, each half is pretty small-ish.

So, the Nintendo Switch. Is it me or is the entire thing rather expensive? I hear getting another joy-con thing will set you back like £50-60, which is a heck of a lot for a controller.

I... did hear what happened over in Academia, I was following that thread. As long as you know what was said was inappropriate, I have no issue with you whatsoever.

I mean, we exist on very different political spectrums and our beliefs do diverge drastically in some places, but as long as we can communicate fairly and respectfully with each other, I don't mind that you disagree with me!

And I do hope you're feeling better!

And besides that stuff, I have missed your posts in other areas of the forum, so I'll repeat again: welcome back!

    Welcome again, Skyblade!

Will you be continuing your Pokemon Sun/Moon nuslocke, by any chance?

My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.

He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.
