As someone who is rather intimate with the plot of GL, I thought they way they streamlined it was pretty well done. Someone unfamiliar would likely wonder what the point of having seemingly important people around (like Rossiu and Kittan) when they only have 3 or 4 lines throughout the entire film. All is forgiven once that last 20 minutes hits.

Yoko vs Adiane in CQC combat was the highlight for me.
