So my japan humping fiend, how has the past week or so been?

Threefold reason really.

1st up the hours were beginning to get massively trout opening window of 06:00 - 00:00 7 days a week and working on a 5 in 7 shift work basis.

Secondly, since Amazon took over LOVEFiLM fully, they essentially made me a normal agent again rather than a specialist which bothered me as I'd worked damn hard for that higher position plus with everyone on the same pay as me it wasn't like I was even financially rewarded for my hard work. This basically also shut down any upward motion prospects for me as we know I like to work hard and be rewarded for that hard work with the opportunity to progress.

Third and most importantly, after getting run over at Christmas I had slightly higher than normal absence due to medical appointments and whatnot. They decided that was valid grounds for putting me at risk of redundancy. Hence began job seeking immediately whilst fighting that choice. I won the fight to keep my job but when I got the interview for my new job, I decided to go for it as it's much more of a career than customer services.

After the offer actually came through with 2k a year more on what I was already earning, a 15 minute walk to work rather than £1000+ in travel, better working hours and job security I was like "smurf this place I'm outta here like nao!". Essentially I'm effectively earning 3k a year more for a better job with better hours just by showing up plus once I've completed the 3 months probation I will be eligible to get a £200 bonus per term if I hit my targets.
