Yeah. It's ridiculous. I'm having a hard time stopping myself from going off on them.

Yeah, but having that opinion is one thing, calling the cops is another thing. I'm like completely shocked that they would do this. This supposedly Godly family who's been in church for their whole lives and lives by the bible and such. Just like, as a semi-religious person myself, I could never imagine calling the cops on someone for a reason as simple as that. My brother has more tumors than he has lungs left, so of course he's going to sound horrible on the phone. He has two tumors on his jaw, one that is growing INSIDE his mouth, he can barely open it to speak, so yeah, you aren't going to be able to really understand what he's saying unless you're around him enough to get used to it.

Yeah. It's pretty freaking ridiculous. It's his moms sisters daughter and apparently his moms sister is agreeing with her daughter. His mom died when he was 11, he's 28 now, and my mom has raised him since then. His moms family never took an interest in him and my other brother, they weren't there when we were growing up or anything, but when he got sick they immediately wanted to know everything about them and how they were and all that stuff. Since my brother was diagnosed in March of LAST YEAR they've been to see him twice. Just twice. They know my mom has been taking care of him, and it really hurts my feelings because I've been helping her just as much. WE have been taking care of my brother the last year and a half, they haven't. And for them to say that we aren't doing a good job and to call the cops? That's just ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.

Okay, well they've changed the date to the 17th, but that's only next Friday. And that gives us time to figure everything out.
But on some bad news side, one of his cousins had called and talked to him and then called my mom and told my mom that she needed to take him to the hospital because she could hear the phlegm in his voice over the phone and if she could hear it over the phone then it was pretty bad in person and then she called Triston back and he told her he was fine, but she called the freaking cops and told the cops that we were neglecting him and that they needed to check on him to make sure he was okay.
I'm spitting mad right now. The only reason I haven't went completely off on her is because there is a very religious lady in my house right now who is urging me to let the Lord take care of it.

WE HAVE A DATE. Texas called today and told us that they've agreed to go ahead and take him as a patient. He'll be admitted into the hospital, and they'll be doing a clinical trial. We're supposed to hear back from them today to know if they've scheduled him for Friday or Monday. They don't do clinical trials on Fridays, but the doctor was going to call his business department and try to get Triston in anyway. If the appointment is Friday we have to leave tomorrow cause it's going to take 2 days to drive it, stopping overnight, and if the appointment is Monday we'll be leaving Friday. BUT OMG WE HAVE A DATE AND HE'S GOING STRAIGHT INTO TREATMENT, NO WAITING. THIS IS SO EXCITING IT CALLS FOR CAPSLOCK.

He's not good. His doctor here in Kentucky wants to put him on Hospice, but we really don't want to do that because that's considered the last step, ya know? You call hospice in when you're dying and there isn't anything else you can do, and well we aren't giving up just yet! He's still fighting his hardest to get to Texas.
We are supposed to have a date for a consult this afternoon or tomorrow. Usually it would be that he would go down for a consult and then come back home while they deliberated taking him on as a patient, but it's looking like he'll be going for a consult and immediately starting treatment. Hopefully by this weekend, the beginning of next week we will be in Texas!
