He's not good. His doctor here in Kentucky wants to put him on Hospice, but we really don't want to do that because that's considered the last step, ya know? You call hospice in when you're dying and there isn't anything else you can do, and well we aren't giving up just yet! He's still fighting his hardest to get to Texas.
We are supposed to have a date for a consult this afternoon or tomorrow. Usually it would be that he would go down for a consult and then come back home while they deliberated taking him on as a patient, but it's looking like he'll be going for a consult and immediately starting treatment. Hopefully by this weekend, the beginning of next week we will be in Texas!

I hate it when that happens. But then again, it's like finding an old toy or something as a kid!

My dad has a '79. He's swapped in a 13b from an RX-4 and added the lsd differential and rear disc brakes from an '85 GSL-SE. It has the Racing Beat full exhaust, holley carb, and had the porting adjusted. I can't remember if it's a full bridgeport, or half. Anyway, it's a pretty nice little car that he never drives.
