Blue Submarine No. 6: A reclusive mad scientist floods the world, and the survivors fight his legions of aquatic hybrid abominations, and everything that entails. It's only four episodes, so it makes the most of its premise without ever wearing out its welcome. It's also very beautiful if you look past the use of late-'90s CGI.
