    The main reason I don't like The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is because Haruhi isn't as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. I find her too inconsiderate (because of how she treats Mikuru) and selfish (like that time she threatened the computer club into giving her their best computer). Seeing how the whole plot revolves around her, it irritates me quite a bit as well. If she had a really good reason for being that way (like being around selfish people during elementary school or having selfish inconsiderate parents) I would be okay with it.

    I hope I didn't offend you too much with my explanation as to why I didn't enjoy it.
