Was your fantasy novel ever published or was that just for fun?

I'm writing a novel as well... kind of. Mostly doing a lot of research and world creating at this point. I have a feeling it will turn into a lifelong project.

Kari Hux, Jess was right when she said you've been having a rough time of it lately (I actually said the very phrase to her in MSN before I saw she had written it in the thread!) and I just wanted to tell you, I think you're a pretty cool person UNNEEDED and I think the forums are better because when you're a member lurker. I know that's not a big thing considering stuff you're dealing with right now, but I still think you should know that I think you're neat!
