Yeeeeeeeeeeees. Exactly. That's so much how I feel. If you look in the Currently Reading thread you'll see I posted almost the exact same thing I said.

It's not even the RELIGION IS BAD ATHEISM IS GOOD stance that bothers me. It's just how he's so full of himself, and how he goes out of his way to reference times when an theist was criticizing atheism. Except, of course, 90% of those references are when a theist is criticizing HIM. It's like, dude. Get over yourself already.

Plus his writing style of "I'll talk about this more in a few chapters" is incredibly frustrating. No, stop that. It's one thing to reference backwards, but I hate it when non-fiction authors reference forward. I could even stand it more except it's like, every 10 smurfing paragraphs.

Hey, so, I saw that you rated The God Delusion two stars on Goodreads. I just wanted to talk to you about that and ask why! I'm reading it right now, and while I agree with a lot of the stuff he's saying, I find him so pompous and self-promoting that I kind of hate the book!
