I remember the other day on SNL they did a skit parodying John McCain, and all of the punchlines were about how old he is. I mean, SNL has been slacking over the years, but McCain just seems to be an old fart with no depth or character, and not easy to make fun of.

And now with that whole "OMFG NEW YORK POST COVER DEPICTS OBAMA AND WIFE AS TERRORIST" stuff, and the "OBAMAS ARE AWFUL AND EXPOSE THEIR CHILDREN" crap is only fanning the crazy media fire.

I can understand the New York Post cover thing, and what the creators were trying to achieve, but I think that it was just done...at the wrong time? Wrong way? I dunno what it is, but the execution was off.

And that whole stuff about how awful the Obamas are for allowing their children to be included in an interview is just retardiculous. Their family is adorable, and I love 'em.

McCain is kind of lucky to not be exposed to so much scadal/controversy stuff. I guess America is feeling a bit over-stimulated about having a man of color be so close to presidency. xD
