Sorry if I'm overloading you with articles, but there's a new one out indicating that Hillary requested permission to use a Blackberry, but was denied by the NSA. Before she set up her server to communicate and forward all of her emails to the Blackberry. Again, flagrant negligence of security protocols.

There's also a video of her talking about how quickly Blackberries were hacked by foreign governments. So, why did she use one for her official email?

Anyway, you're probably still going through the others I sent you, so apologies again for dumping this all on you. Just wanted to keep the information flowing as more is uncovered.

I also ran into this article by the Wall Street Journal. I was looking for more information on Windows 10 (Microsoft is REALLY starting to piss me off), and it popped up on the news feed.

An opinion piece, and not the easiest read, but it does cite sources and list more information indicating malfeasance.

BTW, haven't the Top Gear staff moved on to a new show? I have no desire to watch Top Gear without them, but I would be interested in checking out their new project, if it's begun.

And I'm sorry if those aren't the best or most complete articles. I am admittedly not a very good researcher at this sort of thing, I don't have the patience for it. Most of my original sources are articles by the Wall Street Journal and New York Times (which we keep behind our registers and I have to trade out every morning), and locating some of those past articles, especially ones which aren't the day's biggest headline, online is incredibly difficult. But I tried to go for the most mainstream, most complete, and most factual that I could locate on short notice.

This is the most complete one I could find, mentioning the levels of secrecy info, the number that she had that are still withheld, and the mention of the email containing direct intelligence from a US spy:
    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...cret/?page=all

Coverage of information marked classified at the time it was written:
    http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/ne...rticle/2579394

Coverage of the tech expert who set up the server and was recently given immunity:
    http://nypost.com/2016/03/03/hillary...-probe-report/

The closest thing I could find to directly pointing out that the email accounts that she used were registered directly to her server, and therefore did not take into account the secrecy of information sent/received:
    http://www.nytimes.com/2015/08/09/us...ersy.html?_r=0

And an admittedly biased as hell article that nonetheless provides the clearest proof that confidentiality is independent of the classified markings:

Could you tell me what sort of sources you are looking for? I admit that I am not an expert at tracking down the original statements. I have plenty of news articles, mostly from the mainstream news media. There is a great deal of redundancy there, with information being reported by places like the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, etcetera. But they rarely directly reveal their sources, merely listing them as "the State Department" or "the FBI".

The information on the tech expert, for example, was revealed just a couple of weeks ago, and it's available from every major news outlet with a quick Google search.

Do you need citations on the laws I am referring to, which state that the secrecy of documents is based on content, not the classification?

Just not quite sure what you want.

Well, your character wasn't really interacted with much, so we pretty much just signed up at the city hall. Turns out we have to kill a monster called a "borstortle" first (someone had some idea on what it was, but I can't find it, so you'll have to ask around in the discussion thread ). Apparently that's now a requirement to establish a guild. So we decided to split up to find places to spend the night and promised to meet at the city gates in the morning. And that's pretty much it. Several chapters have already mentioned people gathering in a circle at the gates.

Hey, so the RP hasn't moved along much, but we'll be embarking on our first hunt right about now, so it would be a good time for you to get right in if you want You don't even have to read all the bits that were written, I can give you a brief summary before you go in.

Do you have any care how your Sharpshooter is specialized? Gunslinger, Sniper, or some combination of the two?

Thanks for that. Sorry, I've just been kind of negative about the community in general for some reason lately. Over-stressed, probably. I'm trying to spend more time in General Chat to hopefully help remedy that a little bit.

    You haven't finished P3 and P4?

Whatever for! They're amazing! Having said that, do postpone Persona Q until you beat both P3 and P4; it is a game whose story really, really works with a hindsight view.

Selling "some" comic books

by Slothy on 06-16-2014 at 07:00 PM
I wanted to post this here in case any of you nerds were interested in purchasing some comics. After dragging my heels for more than a year because of how terrifying the thought of organizing them all was I'm finally starting to sell off most of my comic collection. I'll be keeping some things, but not much of it.

If anyone's interested you can check out my ad at this link:

Workout log: week 1

by Slothy on 06-22-2013 at 05:23 PM
I've been back to the gym for a little while now, but have been busy lately so I haven't been as consistent as I'd like. Figured starting a workout log might help to keep me on track to get there at least 3 days a week. Anyone who wants can feel free to post their workouts for the week in the comments as well if they want to partner up to keep each other motivated.

One thing which I won't post every single time is the warmup we do. We always warm up before starting strength work at

Would you like a copy of FTL: Faster Than Light?

by Slothy on 04-15-2013 at 01:31 PM
SC2 events seemed to fail to coalesce, so anyone interested in winning a copy of FTL: Faster Than Light on Steam just go to the events thread below and post. I'll be doing the draw on Friday and we're having an FTL get together this weekend which will include a special guest.

April Steam events: join for your chance to win free games

by Slothy on 04-07-2013 at 02:43 AM
Nope, I am not suddenly a spam bot (as far as I know).

I just wanted to mention for those that don't usually pay much attention to the Steam events that this month we're doing something a bit different. If you're able to join in for some games of Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm tomorrow, or FTL: Faster Than Light a few weeks from now, you'll have the chance to win FTL and the original Deus Ex.

You can check the thread linked below for the details. It should be lots
