    Probably. =(

And nice. What apparent differences are there from the original so far?

I like that idea. It would also allow end-bosses and other nasty trainers to have ridiculous abilities that would be way too OP for the player to have access to. =D

That's an interesting idea. Or maybe a system with a "skill-tree" branch thingy, where you go down certain paths that help you specialize in the pokemon types you want. Like... it could start with the different egg groups, then "Bugs etc" could branch to "fast/flying" bugs and "heavy/steel" bugs etc for even more specific bonuses. Or something.

...yeah. WOULD be awesome if it would actually ever happen. =(

You know... I totally agree. It's such a shame there has yet to be a pokemon game that includes them all. And a more grand story would be welcome as well. One that includes previous villains like good old Team Rocket instead of just introducing new bad guys all the time like "team strawberrysauce" etc.

With the caveat that it's been a few months since I played NV, here's some of the top mods I can recommend to you!

You'll want to grab Fallout Mod Manager and New Vegas Script Extender to get started, quite a lot of mods use the latter and the former is just really convenient.
Project Nevada has a bunch of submods you can pick and choose from, but it's pretty much all great stuff. Many more cybernetics options, more weapons and armor, features like sprinting and using your VATS for bullet time instead of regular VATS, and so on.
If you're looking for a more hardcore experience try JE Sawyer's Overhaul.
FOOK is good for more stuff in general.
Monster Mod adds, well, a load more monsters. It isn't perfectly implemented as there are some balance issues and you might get murdered easily, so you may want to hold off until you grasp the game well. Or you may be like me and get it anyway.
More Perks, ST Traits and Perks, and Expanded Traits all do what they say and are worth grabbing.
New Vegas Bounties I and II are probably the best quest mods the game has got, they're big mods with cool stuff in them. Fully voiced too, pretty surprisingly well for a mod.
CONELRAD 640-1240 is the best radio mod out there without question, but take a look at Mojave Music Radio and Secret Stash if you want even more music as well.
Low Profile Armor Mod is good for very fitting armor additions. TG's Armor Collection is a bit less plausible but still mostly fits fine. PoliceAutomaton's Armor Compilation has a load of armor that doesn't fit at all, but are awesome. Pick and choose as you please. But get Signature Armor no matter what.
For that matter get Signature Weapons. Speaking of weapons, you'll want either Weapon Mods Expanded or Weapon Mod Expansion, you'll have to just see which you prefer as they both do the same thing in different ways. Classic Fallout Weapons is essential, and Fallout 3 Weapons Restoration is too. The Armory and Supplementary Uniques add buttloads of weapons each and are both cool as heck. Finally, you'll probably want Weapon Animation Replacer, as several other mods rely on it and it's good anyway.
    Get Darnified UI.
Get New Vegas Cosmetic Enhancements - it's better than I expected.
The Right To Bear Arms is important if you have the Gun Runner's DLC, as it sticks items from that on various NPCs for more immersion.

Alright that should get you started! Have fun

I don't use any mod managers like that, I usually just put my mods in the appropriate folder. Actually I don't mod very much (outside of Morrowind and grand strategy games)

I play the old Fallouts more than the new ones. That's how master race I am!

You're probably better off asking Mister Adequate for that one, I haven't played much NV

Me and a guy Talk about FF For an hour and a half.

by NeoCracker on 01-11-2015 at 11:14 PM
So far this is the third 'Podcast' if you want to call it that I've done.

http://www.aguywhogames.com/?p=111

Basically the point was to discuss whether or not FF X was a good game (And I must say, most convincing argument I've heard for it yet ), though we never discussed Symore at all.

Really though we end up talking about all the numbered FF's, and it was quite a bit of fun!

Kind of a New Years Resolution

by NeoCracker on 12-28-2010 at 02:52 AM
So, as of late I've been slacking off on a lot of things.

And by a lot of things I mean two things.

First off, I'm out of shape, as I've not been excersizing all that much. I mean I'm a small guy, yet I'm starting to get a little flab on me belly. That's not cool man.

So, I got me a Tae Bo tape for now, since those are fairly light work outs, and I'm starting to do it two times a week. Now by febuary I plan to pick up an instructional Martial arts book,

Games that Recieve Little Attention - Rune Factory 3

by NeoCracker on 12-27-2010 at 09:58 PM
Harvest Moon may have been a well know series, but it's one most gamers have shied away from, finding the very concept of a farming simulator to be a waste of time.

So when Rune Factory first came out, a spin off of the Harvest Moon franchise, it flew under most gamers radars entirely, yet still managed to gain it's own little solid and growing fan base, spreading out from it's DS roots and landing on the Nintendo Wii with Rune Factory Frontier.

The series latest installment,
