I know you plan. Don't try, I am prepared to get physical.(SPOILER)

Hey, two of your fellow babe keepers have joined the zombie party. You should follow them as well

    Mission successful!

What a lovely story. I have to ask though, how does this remind you of that?

It seems you already are. You came in fourth I believe. My party's second and the Zombies are first.

So, can we count on you? Will you join our cause?

How generous of you. But what if we advance today and you do not? Could we count on your support then?

Can we count on your support for the 501st Legion Party?

It's too bad they've removed the DQV style of monster recruiting from DQVI. There's some monsters like the Boss Troll, Wind Mage, and Lamp Demon that I'm going to miss being able to use. At least slimes are still obtainable as characters, and the Liquid Metal Slime won't be as big of a pain to recruit.

I can't really speak for the final boss for the DS Version, but on the SNES he takes me really long to defeat every time I face him. It's really bad to the point where I feel like I'm doing nothing to him, and I should restart and train some more so I can do more damage than he's recovering (I never do restart though).

It might take me a while to get DQIX, but I will hopefully be able to play it eventually.

I don't really like using monsters that don't cap out at level 99, but the Orc King does sound like a worthy investment from what you said (I've never been able to recruit one though), and the Golem is quite a popular choice from what I hear online. One thing I really want to try out is a Conk team (Conkuistador, Conkerer, Conkuisitor, and Conkjurer), just because it seems like fun having a team full of midget people.

I really like the whole monster recruiting part of the game, to the point where I'd actually raid the Briscoletti's house and steal their Zenithian Shield if that was an option. That way, I'd never have to use a single human character (besides the main character) ever again and I can have an team with only monsters (and the main character) without feeling guilty about leaving out my wife, my children, etc.

Since you're a big fan of DQV (Deborah alone not being the only reason, hopefully), I was wondering what monsters you used in your playthrough as serious team members.

The ones I'm using so far (up to the part where I'm going to the mountain to go to the hero's castle where he was born. It was called Granvania in the SNES Version though I forget what it was for the DS Version.) are a Slime Knight, Slime, Brownie (I don't think I've ever done a playthrough without one as a serious team member), Saber, Heal Slime (it took so long to get), and Dracky.

Me and a guy Talk about FF For an hour and a half.

by NeoCracker on 01-11-2015 at 11:14 PM
So far this is the third 'Podcast' if you want to call it that I've done.

http://www.aguywhogames.com/?p=111

Basically the point was to discuss whether or not FF X was a good game (And I must say, most convincing argument I've heard for it yet ), though we never discussed Symore at all.

Really though we end up talking about all the numbered FF's, and it was quite a bit of fun!

Kind of a New Years Resolution

by NeoCracker on 12-28-2010 at 02:52 AM
So, as of late I've been slacking off on a lot of things.

And by a lot of things I mean two things.

First off, I'm out of shape, as I've not been excersizing all that much. I mean I'm a small guy, yet I'm starting to get a little flab on me belly. That's not cool man.

So, I got me a Tae Bo tape for now, since those are fairly light work outs, and I'm starting to do it two times a week. Now by febuary I plan to pick up an instructional Martial arts book,

Games that Recieve Little Attention - Rune Factory 3

by NeoCracker on 12-27-2010 at 09:58 PM
Harvest Moon may have been a well know series, but it's one most gamers have shied away from, finding the very concept of a farming simulator to be a waste of time.

So when Rune Factory first came out, a spin off of the Harvest Moon franchise, it flew under most gamers radars entirely, yet still managed to gain it's own little solid and growing fan base, spreading out from it's DS roots and landing on the Nintendo Wii with Rune Factory Frontier.

The series latest installment,
