    Pleased to hear it!

Sorry, I'm playing it on Steam. Woulda been fun though.

    1) It shouldn't be a problem and I see no reason you'd lose data, but I've never actually moved the OS itself from one drive to another like that so I can't tell you for certain.

    2) There is no reason whatsoever to get a dedicated sound card of any sort unless you are doing professional sound work. It's been many years since onboard sound was of poor enough quality to warrant that, so you're good there!

Well that just sounds plain dumb then.

Tell me about it before it starts, and I shall remind you! She's pretty much the most badass actual female protagonist I can even remember at the moment.

Oooooohhh, I totally thought it was a game for some reason.

But yeah, that's basically what I meant. Something just so happens to randomly show up and help out with no proper foreshadowing or explaination.

And yeah, that does sound pretty messed up.

Also: "Kirigiri" from Dangan Ronpa is totally badass enough to be in the next badass tournemnt if there is going to be one.

Well, I basically pictured something like "oh, this and that just suddenly happened so that the good guys could win after all, how convenient!" That kind of 'convenient', if it's the right word in such a case.

Anyway, I haven't played Deus Ex Machina so that sadly doesn't tell me a whole lot. But I'm really curious now.

And Dangan Ronpa is essentially a mix of Persona and Ace Attorney. It doesn't pull off "Personal Links" as well as Persona and the court system is not on par with Ace Attorney though. But it's still one of the better games for the PSP and despite a few bad moments the overall writing is pretty good.

...and I've heard that the second game is an imporvement, so that got me pretty hyped.

Now I kinda look forward to playing the game and reaching the end just to see how bad it really is.

This "overly convinient" part kinda worries me. There are few things I hate more than convinient cheesyness and bad plot armour etc, if it's anything like that.

Also, in other new, I gotta get a Vita now because Dangan Ronpa 2 gets an officialy translation this fall.

Haha, I still haven't picked it up - even though it has been out in europe for quite a while now. I'll do so soon though.

I assume you mean it "goes wrong fast" by taking a sudden turn towards the end of the game then, and not "goes wrong right off the bat, 10 mins after a promising intro"?

It depends on the size of the drive, but basically yes, you put your OS and if possible your most used programs on your SSD, whilst you put your various pictures, stories, music files, videos, anything you're not using on a daily basis, on a regular HD. SSDs are basically just super fast - my computer takes about 12 seconds from pressing the power button to being at my desktop ready to go.

Oh wow I totally overlooked that. Disregard my last advice; integrated graphics are fine for day-to-day officey stuff and from those specs should be okay for older games, but if you want to play any serious new games and be able to rely on the computer going forward, you'll want a dedicated graphics card of some kind.

Me and a guy Talk about FF For an hour and a half.

by NeoCracker on 01-11-2015 at 11:14 PM
So far this is the third 'Podcast' if you want to call it that I've done.

http://www.aguywhogames.com/?p=111

Basically the point was to discuss whether or not FF X was a good game (And I must say, most convincing argument I've heard for it yet ), though we never discussed Symore at all.

Really though we end up talking about all the numbered FF's, and it was quite a bit of fun!

Kind of a New Years Resolution

by NeoCracker on 12-28-2010 at 02:52 AM
So, as of late I've been slacking off on a lot of things.

And by a lot of things I mean two things.

First off, I'm out of shape, as I've not been excersizing all that much. I mean I'm a small guy, yet I'm starting to get a little flab on me belly. That's not cool man.

So, I got me a Tae Bo tape for now, since those are fairly light work outs, and I'm starting to do it two times a week. Now by febuary I plan to pick up an instructional Martial arts book,

Games that Recieve Little Attention - Rune Factory 3

by NeoCracker on 12-27-2010 at 09:58 PM
Harvest Moon may have been a well know series, but it's one most gamers have shied away from, finding the very concept of a farming simulator to be a waste of time.

So when Rune Factory first came out, a spin off of the Harvest Moon franchise, it flew under most gamers radars entirely, yet still managed to gain it's own little solid and growing fan base, spreading out from it's DS roots and landing on the Nintendo Wii with Rune Factory Frontier.

The series latest installment,
