Update: I accepted the job. Am now getting all the paperwork done. Had my medical yesterday.

I'm fairly confident that I could outdrink half of China in one night . I'm a bit of a wine and whiskey connoisseur myself, so I can appreciate the formalities of drinking fine liquor.

Yeah, I've had a word with some people in the British Council over there. Interlingua's been around a long time and they seem pretty legit. While I can't be certain, as I don't run it, it seems as though everything's going through the proper bureaucratic channels. I send my stuff, they formally invite me as part of my Visa application. I did some research, and either it checks out, or there's a damned impressive conspiracy haha. They have support from the Provincial Government, and the fact that they are endorsed and publicised by sites such as tefl.com goes strongly in their favour.

Well, Guizhou is famous for its liquor. As you can imagine, I insist that we buy some of this liquor and then enjoy the scenery. xD

The interview went really well. It seems to me that someone flaked on them, what with them contacting me (even though I still haven't finished uploading all my info to the site they found me on), the guy asking me the earliest I could start etc. Hopefully that's the case, as it ups my chances.

I'm to send them some docs tonight. They'll think it over and get back to me some time next week. If they decide to take me on, I'll then blast through the process of getting my Z Visa and leave as soon as possible. Ideally I'd be able to leave before December.
