I stopped watching in 2000 and started watching again in 2005 shortly after Wrestlemania (I did watch it a couple of times between but never regularly enough to understand). After discussing it with some people here, I found out that I found it more exciting than the people who had been watching it for the past 5 years.

It was really weird seeing how much people had changed! Shawn Michaels was so much different. And all these new people (who had actually been around for about 3 years).

I should start watching it again. It's been about 4 years. Maybe it'll seem new and exciting to me now.

I was just about to give up watching professional wrestling. It was really boring! But then all of a sudden Rob Van Dam became WWE Champion AND ECW champion. Also, DX reunited! All in the same week.

I was going to try and explain it, but Meat Puppet did a far better job than I could have.

The five-star frog splash is Rob Van Dam's finishing move. It is a variation of Art Barr's Frog Splash. Eddie Guerrero named the move because he said that Art Barr looked like a frog while he was doing it. Eddie Guerrero used the move as a tribute to Art Barr after he died. When Eddie Guerrero died, several wrestlers started to use the frog splash in tribute to Eddie: Rey Mysterio, Chavo Guerrero and Christian Cage are a few of them. Rob Van Dam was already using his version of the frog splash before Eddie diede.

It basically just involves jumping off the top rope and landing on your opponent in a splashing style. The difference between a frog splash and a regular splash is when doing the frog splash you pull your arms and legs inwards and quickly thrust them outwards (looks like a frog)
