Yeah, very true. I'm just a control freak, so I figured this was one of the most important moments in my life, so by george, it was MINE! xD
Actually, I didn't have an epidural with my first one, b'c they thought I was allergic to one of the medicines. Turns out I'm not. But with my little one, everything went too fast, so didn't have time for one.
I breasted fed both, but to each his own!

Great to hear kitten! I hope she comes before then too! The only thing I didn't like about being induced was being confined to the bed. I wanted to move around and use the labor ball because I had back contractions. But meh, whatev. And good luck on not using an epidural. I didn't have one with either of mine. But it made me feel more in control of my labor, and I liked that. I told them when I was ready to push and what I was feeling, not vice versa. Going for walks helped me have contractions, just don't go alone! Again let me know if you have questions or need support. I'll give you my email or my cell if you want!

I heard that less than 10% of babies are born on their due dates. I went early because I was induced and had sumo-babies.
