That's fine, as long as you like the idea and feel it will work best, I say go for it.

If I can ever get the event scenario to work how I want and finish building the locations, I'll certainly recruit you as a play tester. I'm using some in-game stuff for music at the moment, but once I get the main event going, I'll play around with music.

So far, the most interesting part for me has been building the characters because while I have an idea in my head what they look like, it was quite the challenge to make it a reality with the meager options I have with the game kit. Still, it's kind of nice to have a concrete image of some of the cast. It even persuaded me to push the scenario a bit further just so I could add a few more characters. Its going to take some time though, as my inability to build convincing indoor buildings is pretty obvious.

That's good to hear. I've been playing Ogre Battle, which seems to have finally gotten me out of my gaming slump. This also reminded me that I have never actually played Tactics Ogre, so I'm thinking of finishing off Persona 1 really fast and then charging the PSP to start that game.

In writing news, I've been fiddling around with RPG Maker VX Ace, and decided that instead of coming up with some silly scenario to do as a test run, I'm just going to use my major story Soul as the basis and do the opening chapters. This works out a bit for me because the story was originally conceived as a game and lord knows I need to edit those opening chapters down a bit. So I've already generated the first set of characters and I'm building Rebecca's house.

Possibly, I still think one of my favorite love stories is Seishiro and Shinobu from Tokyo Babylon

All of my characters tend to be a part of me, the Fata Morgana story is basically me exploring my more misanthropic traits.

I honestly just don't really enjoy writing the more vanilla boy meets girl type stories. I find love triangles, old flames meeting up with all their baggage, and unrequited love to be far more interesting. Course, I'm probably writing more from experience since my own love life has never been ideal.

A Faustian bent might be interesting but I would suggest using another demon for the deal as Lucifer in the SMT universe always seems like he's above all that and more inclined to simply point the player in the direction he wants.

Oh Dark Souls...

I think the biggest observation I've noticed in my stories is my tendency towards having unhappy love stories. It seems like no one in love in my stories ever meet a happy end. Though I think a part of that is my unconscious rebellion against the fact so many stories have happy stories tacked on. I also tend to love my female characters more than my male ones.

Well that the reason why you have other people read your stuff cause half the time you don't even notice some of your more underlying ideas.
