With that said, I don't mind discussing another story I've been wanting to work on with you to see what you think.

I wish I could but I can't, I'm actually writing it for a special someone and made a promise I would let them read it when it was done. Part of me feels like I may just leave it as something only the two of us would know, especially since she kind of inspired the story initially and I don't really know if she would want me to share it with anyone. I might change my mind since part of me feels I should let an editor take a look at it so I can fix it better but right now it has been a bit of a personal journey going through it again.

I don't know... part of me is feeling weird about the whole story and I may be making a bigger deal out of something that really isn't but part of me would love to tell her only she has read it and no one else. It's kind of my version of Elton John's "Your Song". I don't know...

It's been... interesting to say the least. It sounds more like a silly children's story right now but I'm still working on a first draft. My main issue is that I am terrible with sticking to poetic formula and have been using a weird hodge-podge method.

Each stanza is five lines, with two sets rhyming with each other but the final lines all rhyme with each other to create some thematic rhythm. Course I am talking out of my ass on whether this will actually be engaging since I never did well with poetry myself and it has always been one of my least favorite mediums. Still it's good to try new things and I feel I've gotten farther with the story than I would have with a traditional story narrative.

I can already tell the final product will be radically different from the first draft as I do more research on poetic form.

I finally got started on the one story I whined about in my blog. I found that when I changed the format to something new that I've never tried it made writing it easier because I became less focused on feeling and more focused on getting the format correct. The story has become a narrative poem which I have never tried before.

Well happy to hear you are enjoying it as much as I did. How is your writing going?

I think it was part of a promotion thing because the new artists are people who design monsters for various manga and sentai hero shows.

You are in good compnay on that end, most fans didn't really like the new designs either though most agree the Minotaur design was pretty badass. Though I feel Masakado's redesign fits a bit better once you learn his role in the story. Though Lilith and the Sereph Angels redesigns eventually grew on me.

Fundraise is your best way to get money without scavenging for relics. Though there is a trick to making the most of fundraise... basically if the enemy is paralyzed you can "fundraise" a few more yen from them. Make sure you raise that skill to get the upgraded versions of it and you won't have to worry about money too much. Also some demons give more money than others so be on the watch for them.
