We'll see how I feel about it. Right now, I'm on a bit of an FF kick, and if I was going to go back to a series I left on, it would probably be one of three MegaTen titles I left on hold. I should probably also finish Terra's story in BbS since I'm pretty much at the end of the game and just getting sidetracked by all the tedious side content at the Mirage Arena.

That's probably why she said I would like him better, because I have the option to be a jerk.

Did you? I always feel bad when I accidentally recommend something back to someone who recommended it to me first.

I think my GF said I'd like the main character from Lost Age because he's more of an asshole than Isaac.

As for the Let's Play, I'm trying to stay on top of that one, but I feel my posts will be a bit more condensed going forward. I feel if I want to make headway on the retrospectives I need to finish replays a bit faster. I may experiment with recording video to use for it. We'll see how ambitious I feel like getting. Oddly, I almost wish I could skip over VI and VII and go to VIII, because some of the interviews I've been reading have given me some interesting information to speculate on.

I'll get back to them eventually. As I said, my GF loves the series, so I do plan on playing through them. My GF even said I'd probably like the cast of GS2 better. Still, if I was going to go back to a cliffhanger ending title and finish it up, I'd probably hit up Digital Devil Saga 2 since I didn't play it due to serious MegaTen burnout at the time.

Oddly enough, I've been more in an FF mood lately and really planning out the future retrospective articles. I've dug up some really fascinating old interviews concerning FFVI and VIII that will be really interesting to talk about. Right now I'm kind of trying to punch out the FFV one since I'm in the midst of playing the game now.

Yeah, some of these arrangements have been interesting. Some like Dark Dawn don't sound much different from the Myth album version, but others have some an interesting additions to them.

I feel the game was just oversold to me. The gameplay was quirky, but nothing to really write home about, but more importantly, I just didn't give a crap about Isaac and his crew. I found them and their journey kind of generic. If you're going to do classic archetypes in this genre, they better be charming as smurf to be impressive, and GS didn't really deliver that for me.

Funny enough, this is another game my GF and I disagree on, she loves the series and even lent me the other two games a few years back, that I recently discovered the other day while cleaning my room. I'll get around to them, but the first game really didn't set my world on fire.

That will be fine. I have a stressful week ahead thanks to work, so I could use the distraction.
