XD
  3. Ile (i jakie) nagród wygrałes w Winter Ciddies '15?
Wiesz, leniwy jestem i nie chce mi się czytać całego, długaśnego tematu z wynikami... XD

There is another Prayer Ring in Lune Tower and one in the Ocean Floor if you didn't get yours from there, otherwise you'll have to play the lottery.

Wellgarth has the best gear in the game for some of the heroes. The Fur Coat is the second best armor for the Princess but the Water Robe is the best Armor for her. The Fur Coat is also good armor for the Red Mage Prince. Every party member should have a heal shield, while the main character can get better shields and the Princess can't equip them, using them in battle casts Healmore so that will greatly help with the MP issue.

The best weapon for the Princess is the Bolt Staff which is dropped by the Magus, there is one fought in a chest (you may have encountered him by now if your using your new keys) and others can be fought towards the end of the game. The Magic Hat is also the best and only helmets the RM Prince and Princess can wear but they are rare drops from enemies encountered in Rhone. The RM Prince's best weapon is either the Falcon Sword found in Tuhn which has low attack power but allows him attack twice in one turn, or the Light Sword found in Wellgarth which has just high attack but not as good as the MC's gear.

The MC is a bit of a different story, his best gear is found, the Loto Shield is his best regular shield along with the armor, and the Thunder Sword (found in the Road to Rhone) is his best weapon. I say regular because technically the Demon armor, shield, and sword are his best gear but are all cursed and probably too much of a hassle to bother with.

Yeah that is a problem. You can win more from the lottery game. I wouldn't be surprised if the iOS version also made it a rare drop from some enemies. I'm stuck with the NES version so I think there are two in the game not counting the lottery.

Why are you scared? You haven't even reached the Road to Rhone yet.

I'm just trying to get the Prince Glyn some decent gear. I'm still a little ways from getting Light Swords and the Falcon Sword is debatably a better weapon. Once the team can survive encounters a little better I'll feel better about moving on. Technically acquiring all the Seals is relatively easy, it's the next part mentioned above that's the chore.

Hiro is 22, Glyn is 20, and Elain? (can't remember the name she was given) is like 18. Currently in Bernan and hoping to grind for one more Healing shield before moving on. Yeah, Prayer Rings actually break in every version they've appeared in. I don't think the game came up with an ether type item until DQVI or VII.

You're just sailing through these games. My current playthrough of DQII, I've still only collected one sigil, though I have a healing shield. Gave up on trying to get the Golden Ticket. What are your levels?

I really liked the stuff you linked from x a long time ago somewhere on here, but whatever played when I first started playing didn't do it for me. Again it was just a few minutes so nothing to go off of really. I know I'll love the game. I think most of me is just trying to find excuses because I don't want to keep myself from beating the first one again. Also X was technically a Christmas gift so I need to not touch it again until then.

Part of your world

by Fynn on 06-06-2017 at 04:37 PM
So there's this nagging issue I've had for quite some time now. It's a pretty abstract issue but one I think is pretty interesting and perhaps even important to share nonetheless. For many reasons, it has only become more pronounced recently.

As some of you may know, I want to be a writer. I try to do as much writing as I can. I even do writing for a living, though as an SEO copywriter, it's not exactly that I have an opportunity to spread my creative wings as part of what keeps giving

On FFVII (part of my Fmarathon rant)

by Fynn on 11-23-2016 at 11:16 AM
Decided this is worthy of being a blog-post, since it turned out to be a much bigger rant than I expected and I'm not sure the marathon's audience is really there for that kind of stuff

Frustrations of the writerly sort

by Fynn on 07-01-2016 at 11:13 AM
So there's this thing I've been struggling for quite some time. I don't want to call it a "writer's block" because it kind of seems like an excuse for being lazy. And it usually doesn't last long. This is something that's been eating at me for a long time.

I just kinda feel that I can't write anymore.

I mean, I still write articles for the site sometimes and I write other texts at my work, but it seems like, creatively, I've dried up. I'll come up with ideas and flesh

On story expectations

by Fynn on 03-30-2016 at 11:57 AM
So this is kind of a general discussion, but the general rant I have is based on three popular 3DS RPGs: Bravely Default, Fire Emblem: Awakening, and Shin Megami Tensei IV. Sorry if this is chaotic, as I'm just writing this as it comes into my mind. Also, spoilers from the three games abound.

All of those games were very well received, though for different reasons. SMT is kind of here to serve as a neutral ground, as the evaluation of its story is pretty divided, whereas the consensus

Character Appreciation: Junpei Iori

by Fynn on 03-30-2016 at 10:37 AM
This is in no way an idea I stole from Pumpkin, no siree.

Junpei Iori is a character from the Persona franchise. He first appears in Persona 3 and all of its subsequent releases as a playable party member. He becomes a social link character as well in the female path of Persona 3 Portable, though he isn't date-able. He is also playable in
