I've also been playing Dancing All Night, actually. It is really quite a fun game; I'm up to Chapter 3 in the story currently. I've only played one other rhythm game (Theatrhythm) and I'd say this one is tougher. For one thing, getting a 'good' breaks the combo, which is harsh. And second, there's so much on screen it can be hard to notice the notes at times. Besides that, I'm getting brilliants a lot (on easy, mind) and I'm enjoying the music, so that's all to the good.

Spoko, jestem otwarty na debatę. :P

Oh I'm playing Ape Escape 3. It's a silly platformer game where you catch monkeys who are taking over the broadcast TV stations and turning people in to mindless couch potatoes. It's about as serious as it sounds but it's cute and fun

I mean I'm really enjoying it so far. Karifean generously gifted it to me for Christmas and I've been taking part in the bookclub, so I was following a specific walkthrough to get the "true endings". I haven't done them all yet because I actually just now caught up with the bookclub, but so far so good. I'm actually going to do a playthrough with options I would pick without a walkthrough now, to see which (bad) ending I'll end up with, since I have a week to finish the next "true ending" storyline.

So far I think the writing is solid, the music is good, the visuals are overall pretty good (although the faces sometimes look weird/off). Really how good it is depends on the storyline you play through and what you think of it. SO FAR I am not liking most of the romances I've had (except one), but the stories told ASIDE from the romances were overall really good. If that makes sense. And there are some storylines that don't have a romance at all

    It's alright

I am playing clannad, Fallout 4, Bravely Default, FF Type-0, and Ape Escape the most right now. Oh and finishing up AA
  7. Yyyyyy... Ona tak na serio? XD
    No cóż, będę ostrożny... XD

XD

To trochę jak z komunizmem - idea zacna, lecz fatalnie prowadzona. :P

Right at this moment or just in general?

    I know, isn't it?

I didn't get a lot of games, but I still got some fantastic gifts, including the Dresden Files RPG, and the complete Avatar, The Last Airbender.

Also, Minato got me Triforce Heroes, which is very awesome.

If it is world driven, then the world hasn't grabbed me just yet. I'm still in a castle, and I've just been fighting in Naraku. The negotiations are interesting, and can be amusing, but five or six tries later, it gets grating. I give them a life stone, and then they suddenly just up and leave. For slightly rarer enemies, this gets annoying.

I'm also getting used to the stat distribution. Any tips for that?

Part of your world

by Fynn on 06-06-2017 at 05:37 PM
So there's this nagging issue I've had for quite some time now. It's a pretty abstract issue but one I think is pretty interesting and perhaps even important to share nonetheless. For many reasons, it has only become more pronounced recently.

As some of you may know, I want to be a writer. I try to do as much writing as I can. I even do writing for a living, though as an SEO copywriter, it's not exactly that I have an opportunity to spread my creative wings as part of what keeps giving

On FFVII (part of my Fmarathon rant)

by Fynn on 11-23-2016 at 12:16 PM
Decided this is worthy of being a blog-post, since it turned out to be a much bigger rant than I expected and I'm not sure the marathon's audience is really there for that kind of stuff

Frustrations of the writerly sort

by Fynn on 07-01-2016 at 12:13 PM
So there's this thing I've been struggling for quite some time. I don't want to call it a "writer's block" because it kind of seems like an excuse for being lazy. And it usually doesn't last long. This is something that's been eating at me for a long time.

I just kinda feel that I can't write anymore.

I mean, I still write articles for the site sometimes and I write other texts at my work, but it seems like, creatively, I've dried up. I'll come up with ideas and flesh

On story expectations

by Fynn on 03-30-2016 at 12:57 PM
So this is kind of a general discussion, but the general rant I have is based on three popular 3DS RPGs: Bravely Default, Fire Emblem: Awakening, and Shin Megami Tensei IV. Sorry if this is chaotic, as I'm just writing this as it comes into my mind. Also, spoilers from the three games abound.

All of those games were very well received, though for different reasons. SMT is kind of here to serve as a neutral ground, as the evaluation of its story is pretty divided, whereas the consensus

Character Appreciation: Junpei Iori

by Fynn on 03-30-2016 at 11:37 AM
This is in no way an idea I stole from Pumpkin, no siree.

Junpei Iori is a character from the Persona franchise. He first appears in Persona 3 and all of its subsequent releases as a playable party member. He becomes a social link character as well in the female path of Persona 3 Portable, though he isn't date-able. He is also playable in
