Yes, I do have prog (a lot of it, actually), and luckily it's not an STD. It's the short form of a musical genre, which is entitled progressive rock. In the ashes of the more commercial, basic pop rock of the sixties emerged prog rock, which would stay popular until the dawn of the eighties. This new genre of rock combines influences like jazz and classical music with complex and innovative instrumentation to create long, extended pieces.

I wholeheartedly agree. Being able to find a true prog fan is like finding a needle in a haystack. You're probably one of the first people I've ever met who I can really talk about prog with. I've really enjoyed talking to you, even though we haven't said too much. Considering we just met.
