I didn't really notice that many spelling errors when I played it. I bought it as a "Greatest Hit" on the Playstation, so maybe they fixed some of the errors by then; or maybe I was just reading/skimming the material too fast.

I think the thing that really lowered the storyline's quality was not so much plot holes or a lack of character development, but rather that the dialog was of fairly low quality. All the characters talked at the level of pre-teens, and there was rarely a moment when you could imagine hearing the the lines of text spoken, unlike other games without voice acting like Monkey Island 1 and 2, which both had excellently charismatic dialog.

Lunar, It's not that I hate FF7's characters or the game in general. I just don't like the fact that there is basically no character development and the plot is full of holes. Other than that it's a fairly good game.

Let's not be fooled by my what appears to be intelligent posts, they're all rubbish really. But I like being analyzed, it makes me feel like a butterfly fluttering it's wings in a cloud of love and happiness.

Well, usually Rantzien can make jokes that are both witty and more or less appropriate for young people as well, so that wouldn't be a problem innocentenshi. And, though Rantzien deceptively appears to be young at heart, he is actually quite clever Shiny. It's all a clandestine manipulation of childlike aspects while utilizing his intelligence to insert satire and create a parody.

Usually he's better at it though. Lately he's going for the easy, less intelligent jokes. Maybe he's trying to impress the lowest common denominator of Eoff so that he can win the next Ciddie for Funniest Member.
