That is a good plan! Maybe I'll get a Wii, that thing seems pretty crazy, I could get a workout while playing my games!

Oh yeah no way am I doing that. Well, I intend to get an XBox 360 on the day the PS3 comes out, because they'll blatantly drop the price of the 360, the PS3 will cost extortionate amounts of money and there will be bugs in the first batch anyway. Then once i'm done playing all the cool 360 games, the PS3 should have dropped it's price too.

I think even when I have to pay rent and bills i'll try and fit gaming in somehow, just because good games are like books and films rolled into one, with more interactivity.

Oh that's cool. I do have rent and stuff. I also don't play games nearly as much as I used to, so that money might be a waste. I'll probably end up changing my mind though. Who knows?

I'm definitley not getting anything like that on the day it comes out. Not that I probably would be able to even if I wanted.

I'll probably get the next-gen consoles...simply because, well, I like gaming. And I don't spend money on getting drunk hardly at all or on drugs or anything like that, and I don't have to pay rent or anything yet, so i'll probably get them all. Plus seeing as i'm hoping to go into journalism of some form maybe when I get through college, I could be a game writer. So who knows

I've heard tons of good stuff about the DS though. Maybe I'll get that. I'm definitely not getting a PS3 or anything like that.

And Amanda, the mario kart I have is the gamecube one. I hope that's okay!

DS is definitely worth it, it has some really awesome and innovative games. But yeah, I would think a fridge and other things are more important, unless you have a laundromat like, next door.

I have only ever played Mario Kart on the nintendo 64.

I've enjoyed every mario kart I've played, I just think the gamecube one is my least favorite so far.

Maybe I'll get a DS. I need a new washing maching and dryer first though! And maybe a new fridge. All my appliances are going to crap on me...

edit: I was wondering what was up with that TK. I assumed you meant koopa but I wasn't sure!

I have played it, I enjoyed it a lot, but that's because it's Mario Kart and 'cause we like, played multiplayer with just one person per kart, so I didn't have to sit there and throw items.

The DS Mario Kart ROCKS, too. It has courses from all of the mario karts for previous consoles, so like...the Grand Prix mode is four races, first from SNES, second from 64, third from GCN and the last is a DS Specific. It's back to one person per cart, and you get loads of different carts to choose from and unlock per person, although I haven't gotten around to doing that yet. They have this new drift system too, that lets you boost your car with a turbo boost by charging it up when drifting around a corner, and then if you do it correctly it gives you a turbo boost when you come out of the drift.

I got my DS for cheap in Lanzarote from a Bazaar. It was definitely worth it, it's the coolest console to come out for a long time
