My mother's uncle died of lung cancer (wasn't a smoker) a few years after his wife killed herself.
The wife is the one related to me by blood, though. There is more death by suicide in my family than cancer. I think it would be worse having cancer in the family because maybe that means there is a higher chance you will get it or something.
