Its a known fact that fish sticks were used as hunting tools by prehistoric cavemen. They would hurl the fishy goodness at the woolly ma'mouth (not mammoth, mammoths weren't invented at that point) and it would be seduced by the smell and the wholesome goodness.

And I was always under the impression that fish sticks were made from Stick Fish.
