Well Manson admits that he's doesn't do the extreme stuff people make him out for (though he does support the general teachings of Satanism, that humans should just be human and not be afraid to speak their mind), and since a lot of black metal musicians do believe what they preach, there's even more reason not to fear Manson. Hell, just read this part of Varg Vikernes's website (lot of text on the page, just warning you). It doesn't matter how reasonable the rest of the site makes him seem, I'd be scared less to get on his bad side.
