And that’s the end of that chapter.
I really didn't think so at first, but I do now. I do not believe that their divorce is soley his fault as she makes it out to be, but so far we're only hearing her side of things. I think he's actually being a gentleman about things and not speaking about what she has done to contribute to their situation. I guess we'll see. But he really should lay off that Absinthe. Although if his upcoming CD is good, then maybe not.

Flour, icing sugar and butter would make it a shortbread crust. Never tried that before, but with lemon meringue that would be pretty good I should think. I'll give that a try when/if I ever bake again. The trick is to keep your beater straight. If you tilt it at all, meringue flies everywhere. Although I'd have to see a picture of this pie before I believe that you actually baked it.
I made it out of plain flour, um. Flour and... icing sugar. Then I used my fingures to rub the butter in (I hate touching butter, but I love doing that) then I kept putting T sp of water in until it was you know like dough. The bowl I made the meringue in was too shallow, though. The recipe said a small bowl, so I got the biggest one I had just to be on the safe side. But meringue still went flying over the side. I’ve got lots of it on my shirt!
Hm. It's been ages since I've had Lemon Meringue Pie. I love it. Do you make a regular pie crust for it or do go the grahamn cracker route?
It’s funny that you mention lemons, Leeza! *hands smell like lemons* *has been baking lemon meringue pie*
Would that be Old Zealand, MP? Yes, I guess wild bananas do have seeds. Regular bananas, however, apparently grow by asexual reproduction. I will never think of a tomato or a pumpkin as a fruit though. Orange peppers are pretty sweet. There is no way I'm calling them a fruit either. And lemons aren't sweet at all.
Anything that's sweet is a fruit. That's how I classify fruits and vegetables.
The term “fruit” actually has more value than the subjective “vegetable.” A banana is a fruit, and they do have seeds. However, the bananas you are talking about are a seedless variety. Wild bananas DO have seeds, and are the swollen ovary of the banana—they are fruit. That all being said, “vegetable” is a far more loose term than “fruit,” so calling things like pumpkins, tomatoes, or even bananas a vegetable, would not be entirely incorrect. Or at least, that’s what I picked up (I used to do horticulture back in old country)
