A long time ago [in a galaxy far far away], years after I had last entered a forum (which had, in the past, been an unenjoyable situation for me) I decided to comment on a news article on FF Shrine. I had stayed back on the sidelines, observing several comments (the best of which were from you) forming a heated debate, until I entered the fray. The article was about the possiblity of the FF series continuing on the Xbox consoles, and while people argued over whether it should continue on the Playstation or move to the Xbox, naturally everyone except you and one or two others picked the route to keep everyone happy: multi-platforming the series for all consoles. Before we knew it, the debate became boring and predictable, and we had resorted to an odd, improvised co-written fanfiction of FF7 to lighten the mood. After that, me and you became good friends, and I decided to join FF Shrine's forum because you were on it; I also wanted to get to know other FF fans. Unfortunately everyone else there turned out to be quite cruel, and I left; but we kept in touch until I found this better forum and suggested you join. Through this process I've gotten to know you and see you as a good friend who is kind, funny, and talented at writing, especially when co-writing. Have a great Christmas.
