I had a head casket that blew on me once. It wasn't very cool.

Usually referring to somebody who is insanely angry.

Donals Duck, when he "Blows a Gasket" would appear to have red hot lava overwhelming his head. A little steam horn would blow hit hat off with a harsh whistle, perhaps.

This is symbolic of the gasket being blown.

If you keep driving after your gaskets melt, then you warp your heads, which means valve and resurface. A cost that can exceed $1200.00.

Many gaskets are placed throughout the entire motor for similar purposes. Got them on the headers, intake manifold, all them. It's purely safety to ensure that your smooth surfaces don't ge screwed up.
