There's no need to look too far ahead yet. Successes need not be measured when they are attained, but rather how close you are to acheiving the success.

Or simply break it into a smaller part of success.

For example, for each good mark I receive (success level 1), I'm closer to reaching my credit's completion (success level 2), and receiving my high school diploma (success level 3) and getting a good university course (success level 4) and getting a good job (success level 5). These levels can even be cut into smaller levels.

Because progress means eventual success.
