It's very vogue to say you don't like Paris, but any time people are questioned about it they give wanky, meaningless answers, like "it's overrated". xD I fully cities almost universally, but I like Paris. It's a wonderful city and a wonderful place. Tourists etc. are all annoying, but that's true everywhere. I lived there for half a year and it was great.

I never went to Chiang Mai, but I absolutely loved Thailand. I was in Koh Tao for three weeks and it was just amazing. I've not done much of the Mediterranean beyond south of France, but Pompeii sounds dope. I also need to visit Athens at some point.

I love Paris, too. It's a wonderful city, particularly in August when all the Parisians leave xD

I'd love to do an all-expenses stay somewhere beautiful one day. Might do something Caribbeaney or Colombiaey once COVID is a memory.

I'm a big old cheapo, and I've had some absolute nightmare hostel experiences as a result. xD

NZ was mostly good, though. I've never been to Vietnam, though!

When I eventually make it back to NZ in 2027 or whatever, I'll chef for you in exchange for not having to rent out a hostel room xD

Although Wellington hostels were actually pretty nice, to be fair. Definitely among the best I had.
