Well if were going to include the circus, then evil clowns definitely need to be included. Hell people are scared of regular clowns, so those can work as well.

VII was my first too. I was only 11 You do take a lot of crap for liking it anymore. My strategy is to not care about anything and hope it's infectous...so far it hasn't worked out much. If we're going to formulate a plan, I hope dynamite and a circus are involved.

Honestly just mentioning FF VII on these threads gets you hated by all the oldies fans. VII was my very first FF and my very first real RPG, it will always be special to me.

We need to find a way to stop all this VII hate. Any strategies?

It's true =O! Liking the oldies is good and all, and if VI is genuinely somebody's favorite then that's fine too...but saying it's your favorite for the sake of it isn't good news. My poor FFVII, I remember when people liked you and didn't hate you so much ;_;

Lunar triple S is a pretty good game, but I can't play through it more than once for some reason. I'm not sure what the problem is >=( I think a 100% classic battle system like that is simply burnt out for me at this point.

I don't have VP2 I had to buy that or Tales of the Abyss with my limited funds. With FFXII and XenoIII not too long ago, I was kinda broke. tri-Ace games don't have a very good record with me... I don't like Star Ocean as much as most do and I thought Radiata Stories was kinda "meh". I've heard VP2 is awesome though from 2 of my friends, so I'll get it eventually probly.

As for me I liked VI and IV but I, II, never played III and V bored me to death. I enjoyed playing Lunar: Silver Star and Lunar: Eternal Blue much more.

And hey did you pick up Valkyrie Profile 2 yet, I'm debating on wether I should get it or not?

Yeah, I like Zelda games, but they aren't the best thing ever to me. MGS is way, way better. Damn I should play the third again... I've played the first 2 an insane amount of times.

FFX is my favorite, and I get dogged for it all the time. (SPOILER)If FFX was made on the snes everybody would like it. FFVI is good too I guess, but I'm one of the people who loves VII and up much more than the older ones. I admit it freely! Bring on the pain!

I got my first warning today , I guess putting images of obese naked people is too much for EoFF to handle.

On another note.

I completely agree with you on the whole Zelda thing. Even though it has near perfect gameplay and incredibly thought out dungeuns, the story or lack of never captivated me the same way other games do.

Mabey that's why I'm such a big MGS fan, not to mention the fact that I think FFX had the best plot in the series.

Actually, I do have the Gamecube RE4 ;_; But the more I think about it, the more I remember just buying a regular edition off the shelf... My memory is sucky as hell so who knows. I wanted that chainsaw controller they had going there for a while

No Xenosaga =O!!! Wait, is my Xenolove that apparent I really do love the Saga trilogy though. Not for everybody...it takes a pretty specific type of RPG fan to enjoy them. But if you liked Gears I'm sure it would be groovy. But I really wish Gears had a better translation and text that didn't move.....at.....this...speed.....

I do hate the Silent Protagonist >_=( But oh well... I'm probably the only person on the entire planet that wants Link to speak in the Zelda stuff. Except that CD-I crap, that was horrible, but I mean the real Zelda games.

Okay on to other things
I got the Res Evil 4 laser cell with my limited edition of the game for the GC.(I'm guessing you got the one for PS2, though that version has some extras, so were even.)

Also I own BoF V as well, really really strange RPG, 3 is nothing like it. From what I've played so far, it's quite entertaining, I'm pretty sure you would like. Our taste in games seems to be pretty similar. Though I've yet to pick up a single Xenosaga (don't hate I will). It's especially strange because Xenogears is probably one of my fave non Final Fantasy RPG's, well Xenogears and the original Grandia.

I'll tell you about BoF 3 once I actually get around to starting the damn thing. So far I've only played for about an hour just to check the game out.

Last but not least, do you hate having a silent protagonist as much as me? It just really bothers me because the characters come off as having no personality. Also in the Dragon Quest/Warrior games, the main characters have no name. (really hate that as well.) And in every BoF the main character is always named Ryu and the main female protagonist Nina, which is a bit weird but whatever.

- Don't know if you live in the states, but it's 3 am where I'm at, thank god no classes tomorrow though.
