China is going great. I'm just doing some lesson planning now. I haven't had much time to play Dark Souls, I'm afraid, but I feel a return coming! I was playing AC3, but it's a giant steaming pile of unplayable trout, so I need something good to make me fall in love with gaming again.

Yup! I have been mourning the absence of Dark Souls, but as I said in the thread, there's a chance I might be able to hop back on. No online function, but if I can find the PtD edition, I should be golden.

I'd love to see more of the darker style, though. It's just gotta be consitent, I think. Good choice on the piublished one!

Hm. I've had a look, and I honestly can't decide! I'd say the darkest one is my "least favourite", but it's still great. It's good that you're experimenting, too! While it provides an interesting contrast, I think the foreground needs to be altered to work with the darker background. It's noticeable that it's a post-production style change.

The other two are fantastic. The afternoonish one (the middle one) gives off a really natural feel. The background suits the foreground really well. The morning one, the original, is slightly... radiant, I suppose? It is still great, but gives off a more dream-like feel, I find.

July-September is about the time Lockharted will be over here. I'm not sure if o_O and Fujiko will have moved over to NZ yet or not, but either way I think there needs to be a grand old Oceania meetup with special rockstar guest Pete In any case, I've always wanted to see NZ so I might take a holiday at some point and come catch up with you anyway!

I'm currently playing Mount and Blade: Warband; Prophesy of Pendor. You should do the same. It is incredible.

But that's not why I'm here (seriously, though, leave Dark Souls for a minute and play Pendor ). I decided to make my character look as much like he's wearing Elite Knight Armor as possible. Here is the result. I edited the knife to the right side of my belt after this was taken, to make it more accurate. So far, I've not found a better way to replicate it than this. Pretty sweet, eh?

Understandable, really! Your videos always look like a world of fun, as do your gigs, so I really need to come party with you one day!
