You're right, Rarity. In fact, if I looked up the word "uncouth" in one of my many dictionaries (perhaps my favorite Ponyville 42nd edition), I bet it would have Discord's picture next to the word!

Oh, but that's not true. What have you done for Spike to deserve his ruby? You practically used him as a tool to dig up mountains of gemstones and gave him but a single one in return. But that wasn't enough, was it? He grew a fire ruby as a birthday delicacy for himself, but you just had to have it- and with your charm, it was an easy task. Now, what has anypony else given you? They stitched together a dress that you had already done practically all the work for, and that's it! It seems that you have no problem with taking a fortune from somepony who owes you nothing, but yet you won't take anything from the friends who owe you that fortune. So which one is the true you? The face you put on for your closest friends, or the one you show to everypony else?

And what will you have left to give once they've bled you dry? I'm sure they'd have no quarrel with giving you something to keep you going, if only you would just reach out to take it. There's no need to worry about seeming greedy, is there? After all, you practically pried Spike's precious fire ruby out of his claws and he still can't keep his eyes off of you~

Oh, but it is real! Give, give, give- that's all you ever do for everypony, and even though your work is nothing short of masterpieces they scarcely give you anything in return. How you manage to keep a shop in business with friends like that is beyond me. After all this time, nothing short of a gem as beautiful as this could possibly be worth everything they've leeched off of you. Go ahead, Rarity! You deserve some payment for your work!
