I'll get to it sooner or later, JoJolion was the one I was the most interested in besides Part V.

I'm a huge Street Fighter Alpha fan myself.

Yeah I liked the pacing in Part 5, I just wish it didn't have a Deus ex Machine style ending like Part 3, but I guess the author did kind of make the villain a little too powerful. Its still one of my favorites. I got to part 8 and kind of just stopped cause Part 7 is such an emotional trip towards the end. I'll pick it back u soon, I was just hoping for it to be finished by then. Have you tried any of the fighting games?

She's a new character who serves a similar role as Lisa Hayes, she voiced by the the VA of Minmei actually. Though several characters from Robotech do show up. Lisa Hayes is your actual mission control during the missions that are from the original series like Booby Trap and Force of Arms, the new character takes place when you jump into the post war section. Roy Fokker also does the Tutorial and there are a few missions with Rick Hunter. Oddly, Max never makes an appearance despite both his color scheme is available for the Veritech fighters and the fact his VA voices the main character.

My favorite parts from JoJo are 2, 5, and 7. I feel like they have the best plots and they have better pacing than Part 3, 4, and 6. Part 1 is amusing, but for like all the wrong reasons. It has so much narm charm.

I hope you enjoy it if you check it out. Its not the most solid of games but damn if it wasn't fun flying around in a Veritech/Valkyrie Fighter. Also made props for the JoJo profile pic. I still need to read Part 8.

Sonic 3: A Follow-Up

by Edge7 on 08-20-2017 at 12:46 AM
I was telling Darth-Ganon that I decided to revisit Sonic 3, a game I previously couldn't see the appeal of, after beating Sonic Mania, which in terms of design seemed like a half step between Sonic 2 and 3. I can now happily say that Sonic 3 has definitely grown on me, but I only grew to love it once I approached its level design differently than from most other Sonic games:

To start, I loved Sonic 2 because it was very arcadey; alternate paths are easy to spot, but also easy to miss

Final Fantasy V making me feel

by Edge7 on 08-01-2017 at 10:25 PM
Okay, so I get that a lot of the criticisms towards FFV's plot/characters are justified, but I just beat Atomos, and I realize that this entire adventure has just been Galuf slowly losing all of his friends, and its seriously smurfing me up. Seriously though, for a serious often panned for it's melodrama, there's something very subdued and nuanced about the way Galuf mourns Xezat for a game that's normally so tongue-in-cheek. Really loving FFV so far. I had put it down for a while because I was

*Getting* Vagrant Story

by Edge7 on 10-08-2016 at 07:53 PM
Hi everyone! It's been more than a while. Graduated College, trying to find work, you know how that goes. It's funny that my first forum post in so long isn't about FFXV, but about a 16 year old game that all of 20 people have played.

So for about 4 years (on and off), I struggled through Vagrant Story, every time I felt like I understood its mechanics, I would immediately be thrown back down to earth with a new enemy type (screw the gremlins, the little Satan-spawns). Somehow, I miraculously
