So is now one of your busy months or do you actually have time to write?
  2. View Conversation
Of course. At the same time, our sensibilities are pretty compatible.

I meant to say "Tell me about it" but apparently my phone had something different in mind

We probably need to collaborate on something one day, considering we feel better in different areas. You can weave the plot, I'll do the characters

    Reklam me avoit it

We should brainstorm a way to avoid the frustration
  5. View Conversation
Yeah, but it's always those busy months that the best ideas pop into mind
  6. View Conversation
Yeah, it can happen with bigger projects like that. I can relate

It's a bit of a shame you didn't do individual brackets for the summons

I tend to be the opposite of that. Most of my stories are character-driven and thus I have very distinct voices for them in my head that are sometimes really hard to transfer to paper. Still, I think my main struggle is that half of my narration sentences are basically "As I did X, Y was happening." I'm working on that though.

As for Lucifer - where do I begin? First of all, his appearance - he looks like a pretentious hipster with an undercut and a curled mustache and a tattoo sleeve. He also starts off far less imposing, although there is an eerie aura about him.

So basically, he starts off as a Lucifer who is like "smurf it" after so many attempts to overthrow God and he decides yo spend some time on Earth mingling with humans. He's pretentious, hedonistic, and kind of a troll, but also has a very magnetic personality. But later on, as he notices the potential in the protagonists, he decides to try to seize this opportunity and do the usual thing for him. So he's kinda very out of character at first, but there's a reason for it, and then he kinda develops back to his more standard persona.

Although the big stuff with him won't happen until much later, he'll be present throughout the story from pretty early on. The brothers will encounter him both in the regular world and the Dark Realm, which will be their first clue to who he really is. He gets along very well with Jack, the Summoner (who is a bit Chaos-leaning from the start), from the very beginning, but Benny, the kinda sorta half-demon brother (who starts out Law-leaning), is repelled by him from the getgo since he's pretty averse to demons in general and can see right through him, but they still keep bumping into him and he's often a valuable, if enigmatic, source of knowledge.

At least, that's what I have in mind for now - who knows where all this goes in the long run, if it takes off at all!

I also have Louis Cyphre planned into the story. Of course, it's a completely different take on the character, one that I think might be controversial for fans, but I think it fits what I need him to be

I used to feel I did good dialogue, but now I kinda cringe looking back. It's really hard to get right. Though I think everything around dialog is even worse in that regard

I have other things to catch up with...

by Wolf Kanno on 04-09-2025 at 07:53 AM
I know I already have a lot on my plate, but I do want to finish a few other things besides writing projects and my various marathons.

I like to do gunpla and other mecha themed model kits, and I still have six more I need to finish. I have the old MG line of Gundam Wing Endless Waltz models from back in the early 2000s and I still need to put together the Tallgeese III to complete the set. I also recently picked up the EW version of Gundam Epyon from the same series because GW was

Games tha are distracting me from playing other games...

by Wolf Kanno on 12-10-2023 at 06:09 AM
Since I'm doing a marathon, I thought it would be fun to list the games that are distracting me from actually finishing said marathon.

FFXV ~ MGS: Peace Walker and SaGa Scarlet Graces
FFXIII ~ Breath of Fire 1-3 and MechCommander Gold
XIII-2 ~ Romancing Saga Re:Universe and FF: Opera Omnia

Will update more in the future...

Projects!!!

by Wolf Kanno on 01-28-2021 at 07:40 AM
Oof, I've been a bit out of sorts with my mental health lately, and I think it's about time I do something about that. I've got a lot of balls in the air so to speak concerning projects I've been doing around the forum both past and present. So I'm thinking about tackling a few of them, but with how I've been feeling lately, I want some second opinions I guess. Of the projects I've abandoned, what should I work on next?

Here's where I'm at for the moment:

WK's Top 100 Lost but Not Forgotten : Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together

by Wolf Kanno on 05-24-2020 at 11:43 PM

I'm always split on these articles. So many of these games are great and I have retroactively said a few of them made the list, but occasionally something comes along that I really want to love but the game just won't let me. Tactics Ogre is in a weird place for me because the remake and the original are pretty different in some meaningful ways, so much of this review pertains to the remake due to having only played a little bit of the original.

WK's Top 100's Lost but Not Forgotten List: Silent Hill 3

by Wolf Kanno on 05-03-2020 at 01:37 AM
Is this honestly the first non-RPG on this list?

Well I fell into the Silent Hill series rather late. By the time I had played the series, the "glory years" were over and fans were knee deep in Konami trying to take the series in a different direction without Team Silent. I was a huge fan of the first two entries of the series, being instantly sucked into the second entry and surprised how much I really enjoyed the first one. So it came as a bit
