    Same here, lol. I think Ive started Type-0 twice and just left it like that because I got distracted. It didn't seem like a bad game at all - I just wasn't that into it at that moment

    I think I once started a new game in hard mode and it wasn't too bad. I just kinda lost interest half-way through because something else came up. That's kinda also why I waited with replaying the original TA so long, just so I knew that I had enough excitement and energy for the thing to go through with it to the end.

    Ah, that's a shame considering Humes have the largest number of classes to choose from!

    Last time I played TA2 I had everyone just constantly switching classes so that they always have abilities to learn, but I plan to play on hard next time so I'll probably need to pay much more attention to the job and skill setup.

    I've tried to replay it once.

    Honestly, the first time I played it it took me almost two years to beat the main story because I just kept playing it on and off and all the side missions were just so much fun I really didn't feel like finishing it

    Though I think I won't be able to play TA2 in the style I'm playing TA now due to how jobs are unlocked, how many there are, etc. I'm also pretty sure they didn't expand the number of characters you can have in your clan despite there being a whole ton of special characters to get into your party compared to just the five that are there in TA..

    Gonna have to look out, then. Though I usually don't add mission items at all if they aren't necessary, so I guess I shouldn't have to worry in that regard?

    Still, have no room for an illusionist now Maybe I'll get one in TA2.

    But I still plan to have a Red Mage, it's just gonna be Ritz, so post-game only. But I think that's fine since I'll actually be trying to do all the 300 missions this time

Oof, I've been a bit out of sorts with my mental health lately, and I think it's about time I do something about that. I've got a lot of balls in the air so to speak concerning projects I've been doing around the forum both past and present. I'm always split on these articles. So many of these games are great and I have retroactively said a few of them made the list, but occasionally something comes along that I really want to love but the game just won't let me. Tactics Ogre is in a weird place for me because the remake and the original are pretty different in some meaningful ways, so much of this review pertains to the remake due to having only played a little bit of the original.
