I've lost count of the number of people I've unfriended and thereby lost contact with because of the election. It's a shame it took a turd being our president for people to really start showing who they are as individuals. Might be worth another shot, especially if BoB does end up having to close this down. Are you only on Steam?
I might hover the discord a bit, but I've been friends with Pauper, FOA, Shorty, Raistlin, Bleys, Lekana and a few others on the Facebook for a while now. I don't post anything on facebook outside of our group chats anyway, but it's a good way to at least see that people are doing well
That's a shame, it's been years and your name always has a thread or a post or something on the front site. Hope you make the jump and it opens up other areas.
Thank you, as usualSo this place has been active huh!
The anniversary of my birth yes. Psy put in that holidays because we couldn’t have multiple birthdays in one day anymore because of all the bots and randos, so only Jesswee gets a birthday. I got a holiday instead.
Thank you![]()
So yeah, the second game really does a much better job at keeping the plot going, so that’s cool. At this point I’m somehow most reminded of Breath of Fire III, though it’s nothing tangible - I think it’s the aesthetics more than anything, since the story is much less fable/legend and more politicos/world building-focused.
Yo if this place closes down are you gonna go anywhere else? You've been a legitimate person in my life for over a decade even if we hardly directly connect.
On another note, I’ve finished the first Trails in the Sky game. The biggest problem with it is that it’s a very long game and the plot only arrives in the last quarter or so, but once it does, it’s well-paced and pretty satisfying. Oh and it has an absolute what ending that absolutely swept the rug from under my feet, which I honestly don’t think wouldn’t have been the case had the game not pulled me into this false sense of security throughout. Now I’ve started a sequel and it looks to be much more focused from the start and in general I really just want to see what happens next. But then continuity lockout is absolutely in force and the second game makes zero sense without the first one. So I’d say these games are good as long as you have the patience.
