    I had to increase the brightness on my screen at one point just to see where I was going, and it still barely helped. Thank god for the map.

    I like how you can say 'smurf it' to the main mission and go to level 3 prompting Fist to kill the majority of the marines leaving you with the survivors and having to kill all the scientists and trout, but if you do that you get the bad ending.

    There are some pretty creative death scenes, at least. One involves an alien ship blowing up the entire planet!

    Doesn't surprise me. It's also unforgiving of mistakes. If somebody important dies, or you forget something, you can't move forward in the game, but the game doesn't trigger a game over screen right away. It just goes on until something else kills you. Heaven forbid you saved after the mess up and then you have to start all over!

I know I already have a lot on my plate, but I do want to finish a few other things besides writing projects and my various marathons.

Oof, I've been a bit out of sorts with my mental health lately, and I think it's about time I do something about that. I've got a lot of balls in the air so to speak concerning projects I've been doing around the forum both past and present. So I'm thinking about tackling a few of them, but with how I've been feeling lately, I want some second opinions I guess. Of the projects I've abandoned, what should I work on next?

I'm always split on these articles. So many of these games are great and I have retroactively said a few of them made the list, but occasionally something comes along that I really want to love but the game just won't let me. Tactics Ogre is in a weird place for me because the remake and the original are pretty different in some meaningful ways, so much of this review pertains to the remake due to having only played a little bit of the original.
