While the lip sync is impressive, I believe very firmly in the racial segregation of Muppets and citizens of Sesame Street. They should never collaborate or mix with each other.

Ill most likely be pitching the individual stories to magazines as well, just to increase my chances at getting anything actually out. I have, however, discovered that most of the stories I have are either too short or I’m just really not satisfied with them. I’ve chosen a bunch that I’ll have to edit anyway and settled for a theme, but now I’m gonna need to write the rest of them. Should be a cool challenge.

The Christening went great, actually. The family finally got to meet my fledgling spawn and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

Well, I’ve decided to proceed then and I managed to do some more stuff. Cleared the towers in the desert - one of the heroes, Noel, was finally brought up, so I might be facing him soon. Got the Saigo Clansman to join me and he’s pretty cool, I just wish I had a better club for him. So far I have the Vagabond, Brawler and Saigo Clansman unlocked and they’ve all been pretty great. Can’t wait to see what else I can get.

Well, looking forward to reading the thing whenever you have something for me! Meanwhile, I’ve decided to try and pitch some of my short stories as a collection somewhere - maybe that’ll give me the confidence boost I need, and I might even earn some money - who knows. But I’m still writing the book. Also still brainstorming the mecha comic idea. And I’m also getting more and more concrete ideas for starting a YouTube channel. We’ll see how that goes.

I'll likely give it a shot when I replay FF XII, yeah. Probably not going to be that soon, we'll see.

Nope I haven't yet, just checked the boards randomly and saw this.

Aw damn Is the game much harder without it? Maybe I should just do New Game + now?

It’s cool that you’ve got ideas you’re passionate about that you’re incorporating into your book now. I never knew it had Mecha in it! Meanwhile, I’ve had a short writing hiatus, but I hope to get back into it today

Yeah, I’ve pretty much made peace with the fact that I’ve missed this and I’ve learned my lesson. I think I did have a save file from back then but it was so far back I didn’t even feel like it was worth it. I’m not a completionist by any means and I know this game is open ended, so I’m not even that bothered

I think so? I let the king pick his heir, which turned out to be Thomas, then I managed to stop a civil war, but it turned out Cyfreet was holding the prince hostage and when I saved him, Georg and Sophia were all “let’s finisg this!” And now that I’m back, not only are they still alive 100 years later, but all seems peaceful.

My Top 100's Lost but Not Forgotten: Breath of Fire

by Wolf Kanno on 04-14-2019 at 10:23 PM
Blah blah blah, made a list, blah blah blah, this is for games that didn't make it.

****************************************************************

Anyone who simply glances over my list will notice I have a strong affiliation with Capcom's classic and underrated RPG series Breath of Fire. They will also notice I left one entry out of the list, and while my BoFII entry hints as to some of the reasons, I figured I would lay it out here

My Top 100's Lost but not Forgotten: Dragon Quest VII

by Wolf Kanno on 10-26-2018 at 05:42 AM

I feel like the year 2001 was an odd year in gaming. One of the first time where you really felt like the end of an era and the beginning of a new one was coming. Sony was gearing up to release the successor to the smash hit PlayStation and if you looked around the gaming scene, it seemed like every company was jumping ship to get on board what the PS2 could do. Square had released their PS1 swan song FFIX even though they would still support the PS1 with

My Top 100's Lost but Not Forgotten: Arc the Lad II

You know the drill by now...

One of my all time favorite publishers in the 90s for video games was Working Designs. It was a company that actually tried to get a lot of cool JRPGs released in the West long before the actual JRPG boom in the last years of the decade. I've already spoken about their most high profile title they ever worked on, Lunar: The Silver Star Story,

My Top 100's Lost but Not Forgotten: Final Fantasy III

by Wolf Kanno on 03-07-2018 at 08:10 PM
Blah blah blah Top 100 blah blah blah too many good games to list. Blah blah blah, games that weren't good enough for my list but still excellent nonetheless.

*******************************************************************************

Of the Classic series within Final Fantasy, FFIII was the last one for me to play, partly cause I didn't emulate very often and partly because I had hoped SE would come to their senses and re-release this title.

My Top 100's Lost but Not Forgotten: I am Setsuna

by Wolf Kanno on 02-23-2018 at 06:38 AM
So I did my Top 100 last year, and this year, I'm focusing on a few entries that didn't make the cut for one reason or another. I'll start off by saying that most of the games mentioned in this blog series are all worth playing, they simply just haven't enraptured me enough to place them on my List. I started with Demon's Souls, and i have about 24 more entries to go. I know I said it would be like four or five, but giving myself some time to think about it made me realize how many great games I
