That's actually an opinion I've been hearing a lot. Although the other half of the fanbase calls IV the best RPG on the NES so Idk what to think

Well I could send you all of my human services tips on self-management. You cannot manage your time, you can only manage yourself~~~
Utalize the four quadrant system, do a next actions list, write down your goals, visualize success, commit to something for 31 days, create an affirmation and reaffirm it with your actions, etc etc

Yeah that can definitely be hard. You worry about not doing justice the ideas in your head, and how to properly convey them through story. But I'm sure you have some excellent ideas and I'm sure you'll get them out eventually. Just remember that it won't be instant and it'll take some rewrites and stuff. Might just be a matter of forcing yourself to write every day or something

Yeah, if I felt better about my story or my writing, I would probably make the time. But I don't, so

I read somewhere that people will find the time to do the things that are important to them. That really stuck with me and since then I have made a lot more time for volunteering and things. Sometimes it's easy to say it's important to you, but you need to be able to back it up with action. Not to say that I don't waste any time, but I do keep that in mind. Is volunteer work and human services work really important to me? Yes? Then I can be on call 3-4 days a month instead of skipping a month or only doing the minimum 2. I can do extra days if they need more hours. I can go to the animal shelter for a few hours every second weekend. I can sign up for new opportunities. Is going to school and getting a job I'm passionate about important to me? If so, I can spend time studying every second night, I can make sure I understand the material, and I can do my best work ahead of time.

Anyways, you get what I'm saying. I especially noticed it to be true when, even when busy, I would make time for things like video games or hanging out with my boyfriend or whatever. Not saying you don't/do do this or something, just talking about what worked for me. And I guess it made me realize that, because I feel so bad about my story, it just isn't a priority to me right now. Maybe when I'm in a better mindset about it
