Yes, you do write well and with emotion. I read a lot of things here and there and yes, some writers can use brilliant words and phrases but sometimes they lack emotion...

I'm quite angry about it, but I can change this. I've had a productive morning of applying for some new jobs, including a job at a silver jewellery store. I feel like I could stand a chance seeing as I ran my own jewellery department back in the UK, but you can never tell how these things play out in Australia with not being a citizen... I'm about to go back into studying too, so perhaps the slower work pace will be a blessing in disguise.

That's alright. I don't normally read walls of text (I physically can't, it hurts my eyes unless I'm wearing my glasses - even then it's.. eh!) but yeah it was just such an emotional read. I hope you're feeling better about it.

It's not even on the same calibre, but I recently had my hours cut at work. I've worked there since the job started, have never put a foot wrong, I'm reliable, professional, and give great customer service... But they've cut my hours down in favour of people who make more sales than I do.... Even though these workers are unethical and a bit dodgy. I actually had to deal with a complaint about a new worker just the other day. Her punishment? 22 hours of work next week. I get 12. It sucks and I was mad about it, but ultimately that job to me is a means to an end. I don't want to make a living being a saleswoman for a gas company. I have bigger and better things coming so it gave me some relief, and put things into perspective too.

Without sounding insincere, that's a really awesome attitude to have, Nicky. You've got what it takes to go places; I full believe that.
