Yeah, I don't really dress up for other people to LOOK at me, but just to feel good about myself. I understand that that means I might look good to other people, but I don't think I should have to put up with lewd stares in exchange for dressing or styling myself in such a way that makes me feel good. (Especially when I wear fairly modest clothing, and the dress I was wearing today was surprisingly modest.)

Thank you for your kind words in that thread. I wasn't trying to overreact, but people continuously telling me that I should've taken it as a compliment just kept upsetting me more and more.

I wasn't trying to say I'd been sexually harassed or something, just that it really upset me and made me feel uncomfortable the whole time I was there. And everyone sort of invalidated that. When Steve told me I just made the thread to--as you put it--humblebrag, that just made me all sorts of angry, as that wasn't my intent in the least.

You're the one who does those beautiful screen prints, right? (Not sure what they're called ) Can you link me to that site again? I'm really interested in purchasing once I move!
