Bit of a long (and painful story) but to summarize, I had knee surgery and a resulting illness that made it impossible to keep up with the 100+ weekly hours that were needed to run a library system basically single-handedly. I left to give the library a chance to survive. (My city/county had only just gotten a library and it wasn't guaranteed going forward.) Stress and shrinking budgets matter little to me. Books are all that matter.

I wish! I was a library director for a while. I've thought about going back into that field. If I do, you can have all the jobs you want!

Hey, because of some embarrassing health problems and general obesity, I'm switching to a high fiber diet and it just seems easiest/most beneficial to go vegetarian (and gluten free since a lot of it is naturally gluten free anyways).

I was wondering if you had some tasty and easy dishes I could prepare! Ooh, and spicy ones. I'm already planning on making ton of veggie curries (if you have a recipe, I'm all ears) and get some veggie stock and make just a massive amount of veggie and bean soups and freeze what I don't eat (and I don't really need a recipe for that...I'm a decent enough cook to figure out a veggie soup).

But yeah, I'm pretty excited and would love some suggestions. I'm not terribly picky with veggies, so don't worry about me not liking certain things.

Honestly no matter who wins I'm happy. Pirlo has that god damn beard. I could get lost in that beard and you know what? I'd like it.

I play a few instruments, mainly guitar, been playing that about 13 years? I sing but I'm not like a skilled singer, I mean I can be the frontman of a band kind of singer. Playing music is less and less a part of my life now, though. Recently I've been producing electronic music just for fun, but even been doing that less. It's a shame!

Geez, anything else at this point. I don't have as big of a problem with fantasy stuff, but yeah, it's time to explore other things. Doesn't have to be brand spanking new! Just something fresh!
