We had a guy at our BJJ who was...let's see...I think brown belt? It was interesting seeing him sparring in stand up fights, as he could keep people from charging him quite well with...umm...What's it called where you just have your leg out all the time and make quick little kicks from the knee? Yeah, he'd do that in your face, and it could act a a distraction which then opened you up to his charge. Pretty interesting to watch, as I said. Although it became less useful when you go to ground fighting. xD

Do you do TK competitively, or for self-defence or another reason?

I have to admit, I was torn between the two parties. Having both black belts in the same party would have been cool, of course!

I figured that'd be it. That's the most common one I believe. I used to know more about the Chinese language, but I haven't done much on it for over a year now. I've never been able to speak it, though I keep meaning to. But I know things like the history and it's current usage and stuff, and it's really interesting.

Also, continuing this new trend of accidentally learning a lot about you, is it karate that you have the black belt in?
